From 17 September to 1 October 2020, the St. Petersburg Historical Park “Russia ˗ My History” hosted a multimedia exhibition “Touch the Arctic”, organized by the St. Petersburg Committee for the Arctic Affairs and devoted to the anniversary of the Arctic Council establishment.

The exhibition described the history of the Arctic exploration and the role of St. Petersburg in Russian Arctic’s development.

The “Northern Sea Route” thematic section of the exhibition presented exhibits from the collection of the Memorial Museum of Northern Convoys that is being created by the International Centre.

The exposition aroused great interest among residents and guests of St. Petersburg: during 2 weeks of work it was visited by about 7000 people.
