The exhibition dedicated to the Northern Convoys was discussed at the working group meeting

On August 1, 2023 in the Russian State Museum of the Arctic and Antarctic was held a working meeting on the issues of holding the exhibition "Allied (Northern) Convoys and Lend-Lease 141-1945". Within the framework of the meetin9g, which was attended by the Director of the Museum Natalia Petrova and Director of the Northern Convoys International Centre Vladimir Solomonov, the selection of items for display and important organizational aspects were discussed.

The exhibition "Allied (Northern) Convoys and Lend-Lease 1941-1945" will run at the Arctic and Antarctic Museum from August 31 to November 15, 2023. The visitors will be presented rare and unique exhibits telling the story of one of the most significant and heroic naval operations of the Great Patriotic War and WWII. The exhibition will be based on the collections of the "NCIC" Foundation and the Museum of the Arctic and Antarctic.

The exhibition is held under support of the "History of Russia" Foundation and the St. Petersburg Committee for Arctic Affairs.

The grand opening of the exhibition will take place on August 31 - on the day of the 82nd anniversary of the arrival of the first allied convoy "Dervish" to Arkhangelsk in 1941.
