Director of the International Centre met with Master's program students of St. Petersburg State University

This year, the cooperation between the Northern Convoys International Centre and the International Humanitarian Relations Department of St. Petersburg State University continues. On February 13, the Director of the Foundation, Vladimir Solomonov, met with Master’s program students of the Department presenting the activities of our organization aimed at preservation of the memory of the Northern Convoys, and speaking about projects planned for 2023. The projects will be devoted to the Land-Lease for the USSR during the Great Patriotic War, convoy operations on the various routes of the Allied convoys and the little known operation "Benedict".

Vladimir Solomonov invited Master's program students to participate in the development of the Foundation’s future inter-museum and international projects with friendly countries. As part of their internship at the International Centre, Masters’ students are invited not only to study the most important and interesting aspects of the history of the Allied convoys and their representation in the museums of friendly countries, but also to apply their professional skills in analyzing the potential for international relations with such countries as Iran, India, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan on the theme of military allied operations of the Great Patriotic War.

We thank the Department of International Humanitarian Relations of St. Petersburg State University for the fruitful cooperation and look forward to working with the department's graduate students in their upcoming analytical internships!
