The management of the International Centre took part in the opening ceremony of the of maritime films festival

On April 22, 2022 Pavel Ozhgikhin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the "Northern Convoys International Centre" Foundation, and Vladimir Solomonov, Director of the "NCIC" Foundation took part in the opening ceremony of International Maritime & Adventure Film Festival "The Sea Calls!" at the invitation of its organizers.

XIX International Maritime & Adventure Film Festival "The Sea Calls!" was held from 22 to 26 April, 2022 in St. Petersburg. Film commission of St.Petersburg department of Russian geographical society took part in the work of the jury.

The festival featured 35 works by masters of documentary genre from 7 countries: Russia, Australia, USA, Germany, Italy, New Zealand and Mexico.

The Festival is aimed at increasing public attention to maritime issues, military history, ecology and environmental protection, as well as the implementation of the Presidential program of military-patriotic education of young people, positioning Russia as a great maritime power and St. Petersburg as its maritime capital.
