Prospects for intermuseum projects were discussed at an online meeting

On October 4, an online meeting was held with the participation of the Northern Convoys International Centre, representatives of St. Petersburg State University and the International Committee of Museums and Collections of Arms and Military History (ICOMAM) of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). During the meeting, the participants discussed the possibilities and prospects of projects aimed at involving the younger generation in the study of history, including through introducing them to museum collections. Director of the International Centre Vladimir Solomonov spoke about the Foundation's plans to involve schoolchildren and students in preserving the memory of the Northern Convoys. Other participants of the meeting - Elena Elts, associate professor of the Department of International Humanitarian Relations of St. Petersburg State University and Parvin Gezalov, ICOMAM Board member (Azerbaijan), gave valuable advice on how to involve museums from Russia and other countries in the projects.
