The story of another Northern Convoys’ veteran has been published on our website

The International Centre is happy to post on its website the story of a Northern Convoy veteran from the UK, Albert Edward Wait. The article about the veteran's life, his post-war years, his family and his memories of the harsh conditions of service in the Arctic has been compiled and kindly provided by Albert Wait 's son, Adrian Wait and can be now read in the "Heroes of the Northern Convoys" section. The International Centre has already had an experience of successful cooperation with Adrian Wait during the conference "History of the Arctic Convoys: Dialogue Through Time and Space" held on September 1, 2021, where he also presented an account of his  father’s service in the convoys. Adrian Wait is the creator and administrator of "Arctic Convoys - Forgotten Heroes" group on Facebook.
