The exhibition ‘Allied (Northern) Convoys and Lend-Lease’ opened in Severodvins

On 23 April 2025 the exhibition ‘Allied (Northern) Convoys and Lend-Lease 1941-1945’ was officially opened in the Shipbuilders' Cultural Club, Severodvinsk. The exhibition opening was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. 

The exhibition presents more than 700 exhibits, the most valuable and interesting items from the collection of the ‘Northern Convoys International Centre’ (St. Petersburg) and PO "Sevmash": documents, awards, diaries, photos, household items of sailors and lend-lease supplies, relics of the veterans of the Northern Convoys 1941-1945 and many other things. Many items are being displayed for the first time.

It is very important for the International Centre to present the exhibition dedicated to the Northern Convoys and their contribution to the victory of our people over fascism in the city of Severodvisk - the city which, as well as Murmansk and Arkhangelsk, received ships and cargoes of the Northern Convoys during the Great Patriotic War.
