We regret to inform you of the passing of Pavel Georgievich Ozhgikhin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the "NCIC"  Foundation

Pavel Georgievich passed away on 5 April 2025 in St. Petersburg.

In 2018, Pavel Ozhgikhin became one of the founders of the "Northern Convoys Internationa Centre" Foundation.

As a founder of the Internationa Centre, Pavel Georgievich has always provided the most active and sincere support to our activities. The subject of the Northern Convoys was very close to him: for many years Pavel Georgievich communicated with veterans, participated in the organisation of international events with their participation, provided comprehensive support to organisations preserving the memory of the Northern Convoys of 1941-1945.

The projects of the "NCIC" Foundation were organised and successfully implemented thanks to Pavel Georgievich's participation and support.

We express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Pavel Georgievich!

His passing is a great loss for all people and organisations in St. Petersburg who are in one way or another connected with the work of preserving the heritage of the Great Patriotic War and the Northern Convoys.
