Travelling exhibition by the Northern Convoys International Centre will open in Arkhangelsk

On Navy Day, July 27, 2025, a traveling exhibition by the Northern Convoys International Centre titled “The Allied (Northern) Convoys and Lend-Lease, 1941–1945” will open in the permanent exhibition hall of the Northern Maritime Museum in Arkhangelsk.

The exhibition is held with the support of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg.

Previously, “The Allied (Northern) Convoys and Lend-Lease, 1941–1945” exhibition was presented at museums and universities in St. Petersburg, and since April 2025 it has been displayed in Severodvinsk — a city that, during the war, received part of the lend-lease cargo.

We are sincerely glad that the journey of our exhibition through the cities of the Northern convoys continues, and very soon residents and visitors of Arkhangelsk — a city whose port received 4 million tons of lend-lease cargo during the war, and where the memory of the Northern convoys and the valor of their participants has been carefully and lovingly preserved for over 80 years — will have the chance to see it.

The exhibition will run until September 1, 2025.
