The exhibition "Allied (Northern) Convoys and Lend-Lease 1941–1945" has opened in Arkhangelsk!

On July 27, 2025, the Northern Maritime Museum in Arkhangelsk hosted the opening of the International Center's exhibition "Allied (Northern) Convoys and Lend-Lease 1941–1945."

At the solemn opening ceremony of the exhibition, employees of Arkhangelsk museums, historians, journalists, local historians, representatives of public organizations, and city schools were present. The traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the official start of the exhibition, involved the Director of the Northern Maritime Museum, E.A. Tenetov, the Director of the Northern Convoys International Centre, V.P. Solomonov, and the Co-chairman of the Brotherhood of Northern Convoys Club, G.E. Gudim-Levkovich.

Following the opening ceremony, the Director of the Foundation conducted a tour for the guests, sharing detailed information about the exhibition’s creation, its key and most interesting exhibits, and significant historical facts and events related to the history of the Northern convoys.

As part of the opening ceremony, a medal from the Foundation was solemnly awarded to the Director of the Northern Maritime Museum, Evgeny Tenetov, in recognition of the productive cooperation between the Foundation and the museum over several years. The medals were also presented to employees of the Information and Technology Career Guidance Center “Pogruzhenie” of JSC “Sevmash” — Svetlana Ivashchenko and Marina Leontyeva — whose attentiveness and professionalism ensured the successful holding of the Foundation’s exhibition in Severodvinsk in April-May 2025.

The exhibition will be on display in the permanent exhibition hall (Arkhangelsk, Severnaya Dvina Embankment, 80) of the Northern Maritime Museum of Arkhangelsk until September 1, 2025.
