The Northern Convoys International Centre

The Northern Convoys International Centre was established in St. Petersburg, Russia, on December 4th 2018 with a noble mission to immortalize the memory of a unique page in the history of both the WWII and the Great Patriotic War - the Northern (Arctic) convoys of 1941-1945.

Among the fundamental objectives of the International Centre are: eternalizing the memory of convoys’ participants and expressing gratitude to war veterans for their contribution to the Victory over Nazism; assisting veterans and their families; patriotic upbringing of the youth; promoting peace among the peoples of all countries and uniting individuals and organizations whose activities are dedicated to the Northern Convoys.

From the moment of its establishment the Northern Convoys International Centre has been working on implementing unique project “Memorial Complex “Northern Convoys” in Nevskiy District of St. Petersburg.
